Bradley Chriss is an Appalachia-based multidisciplinary artist working in painting, drawing and performance. His most recent gouache paintings are unreal musings on the various fates of concurring events with the vast backdrop of the Appalachian Mountains as witness.
Chriss received a BFA from Columbus College of Art and Design in 2003 and an MFA from American University in 2008. His artwork has been exhibited nationally and internationally including at Gavin Browns Enterprise@Passerby, Eyebeam for the Umami Food and Art Festival through NYU and Cell Project Space London and Blank Project Capetown for Alptraum through Transformer Gallery Washington D.C. Recently exhibiting in regional biennials at the Moss Arts Center Blacksburg VA and MOCA:Arlington in Arlington VA. Bradley is represented by Unit B Art+Consulting in Baltimore, Maryland
